It's been a sad day.

Losing a pet is never easy, this morning i had to say goodbye to my cat Diddles. He had been loosing weight for the past few weeks and hadn't been himself so we took him to the vets and discovered he had cancer in his stomach.

He had been part of my family for just over fifteen years and was a right monster (my mum treated him like he was baby - spoiled cat!) but he was very loved and was a right character. I will miss him greatly :'(

It's fair to say i may be quiet over the next few days or so.

Grab your scarves! Autumn is here.

For the first time in months i have actually had to search out one of my warmest jumpers and resort to a hot chocolate at eleven this morning. Judging by the weather today, Autumn is definitely on it's way (if it is not already here)

To celebrate, i have decided to dedicate a post once a week to things i love about Autumn, and yes i apologise to those of you who are still clutching onto summer by refusing to put your sandals into the back of your wardrobe and fish out your boots. Don't get me wrong, I loved Summer and will miss my summer dresses and the long summer evenings. This summer has been AMAZING! but i'm well and truly ready to welcome Autumn and wrap up warm in my knitted cardigans and jumpers.

I decided to dedicate this post to candles. Now, those who know me in real life will know i'm obsessed with candles. If i am at home there is usually a candle lit to reflect either my mood or the time of year. Yankee candles are my major weakness, it takes a lot of will power for me to walk past a Yankee candle display and not buy one.

I thought i'd also include a picture of the Autumn Yankee Candles that i am itching the get my hands on. These all look amazing, especially the Red Velvet one (good enough to eat, yes?) and will all make a lovely addition to my growing collection of candles. Of course, despite being Yankee Candles biggest across the pond fan! I am not against burning other candles i come across during my visit to the shops and i'm currently loving a candle from Aromabotanical (https://www.aromabotanical.com.au) called cinnamon and apple which smells gorgeous and reminds me of autumn and dark nights snuggling up on the sofa with someone special - LUSH!

Obsessed with candles? Comment on this post and let me know what are some of your favourite scents or candles :)

Want to buy a yankee candle online? then i recommend buying them from here http://www.yankeedirect.com

Finally jumping on the bandwagon....

I have been officially 'Umming' and 'ahhhing' about starting a blog for MONTHS. I keep telling my bestie and my boyfriend that THIS is finally the day i'm going to sit down; with a nice cup of tea and a few biscuits, and write my first post (i have been saying this for a good part of this year - oops!)
So, this is me. Dipping my little toe into the online world of blogging. I have to admit it's a little daunting after reading so many amazing blogs for so long but here is to trying new things out of my comfort zone. So be kind and please be gentle and i may share a biscuit with you :)
I thought for my first post i'd share with you a photo, which i took a few weeks ago, of the most yummiest pancakes ever which i ate in a cute little cafe not so far from me. Trust me, it was love at first sight!

YUM!<3>
